The Management Contract (MC) for South Azadegan Oil Field Development Project was concluded in the second half of Ordibehesht 1398 between Iran Oil Development and Engineering Company and Petropars.

A report released by the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Petropars Group, Petropars has already been active in the said Project and had undertaken the responsibility of Project Management. Lately, the Managing Director of  Iran Oil Development and Engineering Company (as the Employer) and the Managing Director of Petropars (as the Project Manager) agreed to conclude and finalize Phase 1 of South Azadegan Oil Field Development Project.

The said Project, which employs well over 200 workforce from Petropars, is located 100 KM West of Ahwaz in Dashte-Azadegan City and is jointly owned by Iran and Iraq. The Project is scheduled to produce 320,000 barrels of oil per day.
